Boiler building 1
Building or no building, that is the question.
A second-hand boiler plant to be built in, a silo for pellets, an oil tank and two chimneys all surrounded by a fence.
The challenge was to fit these elements in an urban environment, albeit with an industrial nature.
The fence grew into a transparent building, layer upon layer of wire fencing. Different directions and at different number of layers, creating variations and patterns. From a distance, densed, as you came closer more transparent.
A little greeting to the Swedish tradition to change expensive to cheap. A turned pillar of stone was often a round-painted wooden box. Maybe it was the museum's varied Jong corte perforated steel facade, which opened for this idea, a perforated varied facade of tensioned mats of networks.
