Summer house Öland
The father in the family, who has spent most of his summers on Öland, had been longing to buy the site for years.
With a wonderful view, close to the Baltic, the house is situated in the northern part of Öland.
The family wanted a "house from Öland" and the design is focusing in the use of typical materials in a modern way.
The lay out has grown out of the micro climate and the beautiful view of the Baltic.
The materials are limb stone and larch that in time will turn gray and a green roof.
In a couple of years the house will be a part of nature, in the same way as a local farm house.
Inside light, white birch as a background to the beautiful furniture chosen by the family
The house is published in the Swedish and German magazines.
