Staffan Strindberg's first working experience was not as an architect, but as an engineer and musician .
He studied architecture in Stockholm, at the Royal Institute of Technology, and then spent the eighties in the office of Lennart Bergström Architects before moving to Kalmar, to set up his own practice in 1992.

The work varies from city planning and commercial buildings to housing and interiors.
Clients are contractors, public companies, government agencies, the Swedish Church and private clients.

Villa Näckros was nominated for the Swedish Building industries prize "The Building of the Year" 2003
Summer house at Drag was nominated for "The Red Paint Award" 2004
The buildings at the Northern Cemetery in Kalmar were nominated for the Swedish Association of Architects Blekinge Kalmar architectural prize 2010.
The work "The Great Communicator", in cooperation with Oscar Guermouche, won the public commission WEBSR2/European Union South Baltic Program 2012, in Ronald Reagan Park, Gdansk

Staffan Strindberg is a member of the ethical committee of the Swedish Associations of Architects and is from time to time representing the Swedish Associations of Architects in juries of architectural competitions.

Staffan is also active in the management of the Digital Visualization of Architecture and Design program, School of Engineering Jönköping Univeristy
